Alicia Keys made history yesterday (November 20th) by debuting her new album, Girl on Fire, live on YouTube in a Google+ hangout. With one week until the album’s official release date, Alicia decided to live-stream her fifth studio album straight from her New York studio, joined there (on webcam or in person) by a few special guests such as Emeli Sande, Maxwell and Miguel, and a handful of lucky fans.
The special two-hour session, which you can watch in full below, saw the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter play a selection of tracks from the album, whilst also taking time out to discuss the making of the album and engage her fans in an interactive Q&A webchat.
Girl on Fire drops on November 27th with RCA. Pre-order it on iTunes now.
