AlunaGeorge – “Diver” | New Music

Having been tipped for big things in 2013, the hypnotising and harmonising AlunaGeorge have a lot of expectation on their young shoulders. It was announced today that the duo, made up of vocalist Aluna Francis and production talent George Reid, finished second in the BBC’s Sound of 2013 poll- but they show no intention of shying from their contagious brand of R&B-soaked future pop.

This week the pair took to Radio 1 to announce that their Island Records debut, scheduled for June, will be titled Body Music, and they also had some new music for our listening pleasure. To prepare us for the inevitable gyrational pull of their forthcoming record, they unveiled their new single “Diver” (previously heard in teaser form) in its entirety, and the track is a blissful meeting between UKG and dreamy R&B that will make you long for summer’s steamy touch.
