Fresh off their nomination as one of the BBC’s Sound of 2013 artists, tipped to do big things, male-female future-pop duo AlunaGeorge release a video teaser for “Diver“, a new single from their forthcoming debut album.
If most teasers consist of a frustrating sub-minute glimpse of a song we’d rather just hear already, this is a genuine, two minute trailer, well worth your time and attention. Sure, the beach-themed visuals are nothing new, but both the vocals (especially that sped up, chipmunk-style hook) and the production have a dreamily catchy quality to them that make the track, or should I say teaser, completely hypnotizing. I wanted to say ethereal, but I stopped myself.
