One of Queens, New York’s best-kept secrets Apani B. Fly comes out of hiding with this beauty cradled in her arms. A track that will likely never be properly released thanks to label politics, she says, “Hey”, digs deeper into the legendary J Dilla‘s beat stash, plucks out a clunking banger and sees Ms. B. Fly get her Jean Grae on for a lyrical assassination. I’d say this makes up for the four year hiatus.
Although a simple stream is the height of this track’s existence, it shouldn’t stop you from enjoying it below.
