Azealia Banks covers The Strokes’ “Barely Legal” | New Music

Harlem rapper Azealia Banks recently announced via her Twitter account that the label has finally greenlit a release date of the 26th March for her single “Yung Rapunxel” with a music video courtesy of Jam Sutton and “snippets” to follow.

The single news was then followed by a posting to her Soundcloud page of a cover of The Strokes‘ track “Barely Legal” from their groundbreaking 2001 album Is This It. All in a day’s work for the popular singer/rapper phenomenon.
