Azekel – ‘That Feeling’ | New Music

You may remember Azekel from his impressive “Walls of Jericho” music video, which SoulCulture proudly premiered back in June. Now, the Nigerian-born, East London-raised multi-dimensional (singing, producing and instrumentation all lie in the man’s arsenal) musical talent follows up on the visual gem with a demo for a song entitled “That Feeling”. Despite substituting the anthemic and synth-laden sonic, Azekel carries over his charming vocals and applies them over a slow-burning acoustic setting.

Not to get carried away, but this number draws scary resemblance to R&B’s man of the moment, Frank Ocean; I guess you could consider him as a contender for the UK’s answer to the Odd Future crooner. Stream and download “That Feeling” below.
