New music from Queen Beyonce – check out this 15 second preview of her vibrant new single, spectulatively titled “Girls (Who Rule The World),” which she was recently spotted shooting a music video for in the Mojave Desert, California, directed by Francis Lawerence.

Reportedly the first single from Bey’s new album, the song rides the beat of Major Lazer‘s 2009 killer dancefloor anthem “Pon de Floor,” which originally featured Vybz Kartel and Afrojack from the production duo’s debut album, Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do. Listen below.

With a welcome return to her ‘urban’ sounds on this track, Beyonce spoke to MTV last year about her forthcoming LP stating, “I’m not in a box… It’s not R&B. It’s not typically pop. It’s not rock. It’s just everything I love all mixed together in my own little gumbo of music.”
