Bondax recently impressed us when they teamed up with Kilo Kish for the bright, bouncy “It’s You” and now the Lancaster duo are back to feast our ears with more new music in the form of latest single “Gold“.
This one falls roughly in the realm of alt-pop, but in reality it’s a creature with its own groove. Whilst a soulful vocalist provides smooth, gold-laden vocals, the rhythmic production switches from simple bass kicks to minor synths to upbeat clicks in a matter of minutes, and the result is effortlessly pleasing. More evidence that those teens George Townsend and Adam Kaye have the Midas touch.
