Funkmaster Flex premiered “Doin’ It Again” Wednesday night, Busta Rhymes‘ super radio-friendly new joint featuring his fellow Conglomerate member Reek Da Villain and sexy singer/songwriter Chanel.
Revolving around a sample of Jonell‘s (Remember her? Probably not.) 2003 hit “Round and Round” not-so-subtly flipped by Ted Smooth, “Doin’ It” sees Bussa Bus abandoning the rapid-fire style that has become his trademark in recent years in favor of a much smoother and laid-back delivery. Reek comes through and drops a very cocky 16 while Ms. Chanel handles the hook duty.
The hard rocks among us won’t be feeling this one, but it’s a nice little summertime record that the girls are sure to love. Check it out below.
