Houston-bred violinist Charly and Detroit-bred viola player Margaux are more than just pretty faces, they’re classically-trained musicians. The two met in Boston as college students and later relocated together to their new terrain of New York City.
On the brink of releasing their new project The Gallerina Suites in full later this month, the duo gives us its first offering, “Run The Gauntlet.”
For the song, the duo revisits a composition of theirs from over two years ago and the end result is an intensely powerful and emotional piece that explores their experience as artists trying to make a name for themselves in the Concrete Jungle.
The visuals for the song, which will be directed by CJ Something of Culture of Creativity, will be released later this month.
