Choklate – “Wide Open” | New Music

Seattle soul songstress Choklate returns “Wide Open” with her new album, Fly, on it’s way.

The first single from the project, “Wide Open” is a soulful, grooving affair produced by Vitamin D, as Choklate celebrates her uncontrollable urges for that good love from a special someone.

“It took a lot of patience to get this record done,” she reflects on her new album. “It took me being really honest with myself and applying myself in ways I’ve never had to. I had to sing from a pure place, a vulnerable place, and be ok with everything that wasn’t…”

Fly is set for release on October 16, and will also feature production from Musiq Soulchild, Wajeed, Tha Bizness, Illmind, Kuddie Fresh and DJ Kemit. Sounds like we’re in for a real treat.
