In the run-up to her fifth album One Woman Army, ATL-hailing R&B singer Ciara lets us in on what we can expect from the upcoming project with a new snippet. After paving the way with buzz track “Sweat” featuring G.O.O.D Music affiliate 2 Chainz, the singer goes for an electro pop vibe with “Overdose.”
Afraid of “overdosing” on love, Ciara pleas for help on the mid-tempo pop track that sounds like it’s aimed to land the singer a pop chart position. Judging by what we’ve heard so far, One Woman Army is on the road to feature a blend of genres.
The new album will be the singer’s first release under L.A. Reid‘s Epic Records and is scheduled to drop in October.
