Ciara‘s unveils the latest single from her forthcoming album One Woman Army, “Wake Up, Turn Up”, which was produced by Mike Will Made It and co-written by Atlanta ‘rapper’ Future, whose signature is very obvious, with CiCi using a stop-go, sing-rap flow and takes a few shots at her contemporaries.

Personally, the track doesn’t move me. I would expect something dynamic from these three considering the chemistry they displayed in the past. Mike Will Made It is the go-to producer of the moment but the beat feels merely sufficient. Additionally, competing with the publicity that Beyonce and Justin Timberlake are generating, this track sounds like a missed opportunity.
