It takes a bit of balls to cover certain rather huge artist’s work, Janet Jackson is one of them and R&B singer Teairra Mari has the cohones to do so. This cover is of “Come Back To Me” originally featured on the classic Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 album, all the way back in 1989.
Although I can’t remember the last time I heard anything form Miss Mari, could this mean that she is bringing a studio album out? That remains to be seen. Teairra is a good singer, and unsurprisingly handles this song well. I’m yet to be blown away by anything she has done, however am not writing her off just yet.
