Following on from the release of ‘Change,” former Diddy-Dirty Money singer Dawn Richard unleashes new solo track “Black Lipstick.”
Taken from her forthcoming digital EP Armor On, which is set for release March 27th, Richard describes the track as “the story of how I found out I needed armor.”
“It’s the trap,” she elaborates – “The music industry is described as a mysterious woman. The seduction and the betrayal of her. I saw in color but as soon as my eyes set on her, all that was seen was black and white. That is when I knew I needed to put my armor on.”
