Dead Prez f/ Bun B & Reek Da Villian – “Time Travel” (Remix ) | New Music

The highly influential hip-hop group Dead Prez recently released their latest album Information Age for the masses to digest, and with the newly-released deluxe edition comes a remix to one of the album’s biggest tracks, “Time Travel”. Connecting with Bun B and Reek Da Villian for the remix, the track sees the rappers go in over the synth heavy, southern-inspired beat that speaks volumes for how much of a musical departure Information Age is compared to the group’s older releases.

Of course the beat is catchy, and the Trill OG kills his verse as always, but I can’t help but miss the days of  “Mind Sex” and of course “Hip Hop”. Check out the remix below.
