DProsper f/ Jay Electronica – “Atom Anthem” | New Music

It’s not every day that the reclusive Jay Electronica comes out of hiding to bless us with new music but today, we are treated to a guest feature by him on DProsper‘s “Atom Anthem,” a track from his album #Atom 12.12.12.

While Jay Electronica’s verse is without a doubt the more anticipated of the two emcees, DProsper definitely holds his own, leading off with an aggressive verse to set the pace. In fact, the two emcees sound fairly similar in terms of their delivery style and subject matter. Jay Elec does not dissapoint, delivering a verse packed with symbolism in a way that only he could. The track entertains due to the strength of both lyricists, despite the repetitive nature of the beat.

While many are still holding their breath waiting for Jay Electronica’s Act II, this serves as a quality morsel for hungry fans to sink their teeth into. Download #Atom 12.12.12. in its entirety here.
