Here’s something with a little backbone to rock to on your Easter holiday weekend as New York based live Hip Hop band Dujeous enlist soulful crooner John Legend for “Pro Choice,” from the funk-filled outfit’s new album Day In Day Out.
With a 7-deep lineup including emcees Mojo the Cinematic, Rheturik and Mas D along with guitarist/producer Taylormade, trumpeter Dave Guy of the Dap-Kings, drummer/producer Tomek and bassist/producer Apex, Dujeous’ sophomore album follows their 2004 debut City Limits – and is out now.
The album also boasts additional guest features from Sharon Jones and Immortal Technique, whilst “Pro Choice” offers a hefty combo of funk, soul, rock and rap weighted by a lyrically adept team. Fans of Outkast should relate.
