The homegrown talent teams up with fellow British superstar Tinie Tempah in what appears to be the first offering from her forthcoming debut album.
“Hanging On” — which is a cover of Active Child‘s 2011 track of the same name — sees gentle instrumentation that places the focus squarely on the billowy, eery vocals for which Goulding has become known. The track also sees a lazy verse from Mr. Tempah which, in my humble opinion, wholly detracts from the mysticality of the track.
