Fabolous – ‘So NY’ | New Music

Lil’ Wayne may not be fond of The Big Apple, but Fabolous loves his hometown and reps it fully on his latest drop, the aptly titled “So NY.”

Fab aims directly at Wayne in the song’s hook — “I’m so New York, Weezy probably don’t like me” — but not as a sign of disrespect, just to indicate that he heard him talkin’. The slick talk doesn’t end there, though, as Fab also acknowledges the fact that many of the city’s biggest names no longer live there full time:

For my city, emphasis on MY city / You gotta go to L.A. if you lookin’ for Diddy / You gotta check CT if you lookin’ for 50 / Ni–as in Paris, but what about the city?
