Action Bronson‘s associate Meyhem Lauren releases Mandatory Brunch Meetings, a free full-length album full of aggressive rhymes and hard-hitting instrumentals.

This album is clearly made for the streets, as Meyhem boasts of his past life hanging out in drug spots and handling business, but that doesn’t stop him from using an extensive vocabulary to paint a picture of that from which he came. Lauren’s powerful voice serves him well, placing emphasis on his emphatic boasts and thinly veiled threats.

Everything about this project, from Meyhem’s bold lyrics and delivery to the production style, feels like a blast from a New York past. He certainly is not concerned with the current trends being popularized in mainstream rap. Guest appearances include Action Bronson, Gabbie Giftsz, AG Da Coroner, Maffew Ragazino, Heems of Das Racist, Lakutis, Ness, Carrie Wilds, and Hologram.
