RZA presents Shaolin Soul Selection: Volume 1 [Sampler] | Stream/Download

Before RZA stepped into Hollywood, he provided the sound of a revolution. Wu-Tang Clan‘s Enter The 36 Chambers influenced an entire generation of emcees and producers with the way the clan melded classic Stax soul samples, gritty hip-hop drums and splices of the kung-fu flicks the crew admired.

On March 19, Stax and The RZA will release Shaolin Soul Selection: Volume 1 as a tribute to the sound that birthed the Wu-Tang brand. The collection holds 24 original recordings across 2 CDs, 3 Vinyl LPs or Digital Download, whichever format you prefer.

DJ 7L contributes an album mix as a teaser for the project from Soul Temple Records.
