Like they joked on air before, why would Childish Gambino drop gems anywhere other than on Sway Calloway‘s Sway In The Morning radio spot? Not only announcing the title of his next mixtape (Royalty, due out July 4th), premiering the project’s latest cut, “One Up“, and previewing a never-before-heard verse on the show, Donald Glover also took part in the customary “5 Fingers of Death” challenge, the beat-switching freestyle task designed to truly test an emcee’s mettle.

Hopping from hip-hop to house to grunge and everything in between – Nas‘ “2nd Childhood” and Nirvana‘s “Come As You Are” among those in the melting pot – it’s fair to say that ‘Bino pulled it off pretty well. Just ask Sway. You can decide for yourself below though.
