With his next mixtape Royalty right around the corner, Childish Gambino is currently in the Big Apple for a promotional run. After appearing on 106 & Park, Donald Glover stopped by Sway Calloway‘s Sway In The Morning radio spot (the same place he premiered the tape’s latest leak “One Up“) where he previewed a never-before-heard pre-written verse over the classic Premo-produced Biggie instrumental, “Ten Crack Commandments”.
Namedropping Waka Flocka Flame, OutKast, Phonte, Beyonce and Jay-Z (by way of wordplay) all within consecutive bars; this verse is fire. We’ll have to wait ’til July 4th to see if these raps land on Royalty.
