Just hours before the official release of G.O.O.D. Music’s highly-promoted and eagerly-anticipated Cruel Summer compilation, Grammy Family reps Common, Big Sean, Pusha T, CyHi The Prynce and Teyana Taylor swung through Funk Flex’s show at Hot 97 go drop some bombs with a good ol’ fashioned freestyle session.
Though only 60% of the guests took the mic, the crew set the studio ablaze with bars that ripped three instrumentals — Just Blaze‘s addictive “What We Do,” Nashiem Myrick‘s classic “Who Shot Ya” and Havoc‘s legendary “Shook Ones Pt. II” — to shreds, putting the crew’s MC skills on full display.
