Freeway, Neef Buck, Young Chris, Memphis Bleek, Peedi Crakk – “Roc Reloaded” | New Music

Freeway, Neef Buck, Young Chris, Peedi Crakk and Memphis Bleek team up to release a Jake One-produced posse cut entitled “Roc Reloaded.”

All five emcees were formerly members of Roc-A-Fella, which was founded by Jay-Z and Damon Dash. Freeway began his career with the label for his first two albums. Neef Buck and Young Chris formed the Young Gunz, with their only two studio albums to date released on the label in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Memphis Bleek’s first four albums moved through Roc-A-Fella and finally, Peedi Crakk was a member of rap group State Property, also signed to the ROC.

Now that the label is defunct, it is interesting to hear these four teaming up together again without Jay’s involvement, with all five emcees sounding hungry as they deliver sharp verses in succession, fueled by Jake One’s cinematic production and set to feature on the Philly emcee’s upcoming Black Santa EP, which drops on December 24th.
