gLAdiator – ‘New’ LP | Stream/Download

Michell C. Clark January 4, 2013 Album Streams, Electronic, Hip Hop, Instrumental, Music, New Music Comments

Trap duo gLAdiator has been making waves in a rapidly expanding genre, and to conclude a successful year in 2012 they recently released New – a free 11-track album with all-new material offering a prime example of the complexity that can be woven into Trap.

This project is brazenly loud at times, but does not sacrifice quality or intricacy in the process. New is also a great listen because it delves into the lesser-known calming side of Trap. “Royal T,” for example, is a relaxing listen highlighted by glistening harps, strings, and subtle percussion. The diversity of sound in this project will serve as an excellent introduction for those who have yet to experience Trap, whilst long-time fans will be drawn in by the diverse pool of samples used throughout. Take a listen below.
