Following the storms (serene, smoothing ones at that) that her “110%” and “Wildest Moments” singles stirred, evermore popular UK songstress Jessie Ware debuts the latest cut from her forthcoming debut album, Devotion. In that same sonic ilk, “Sweet Talk” comes as the latest arrival, and swoons down in our speakers riding the wave of a retro ’80s pop vibe, steered by the contemporary-yet-classical vocals of Ms. Ware, as she mulls over why she keeps falling for your “sweet talk”.
Devotion sounds like it could give Frank Ocean’s R&B prize, channel ORANGE, a run for its money. The album is due out August 21st via PMR Records.
