Ahead of the release of his upcoming EP Skydive pcoming South London soul singer Joel Culpepper releases his latest track “Heaven,” blending his soulful voice with the sounds of Hip-Hop, Soul and Funk with a seductive electro-funk feel for this mellow love song.
Culpepper’s third release to date, following his 2009 mixtape The Adventures of Pensmith and 2011 effort Joel Culpepper Meets J. Dilla, the Skydive EP is due for release later in October.
Londoners can catch him performing at the East Ender Festival this month alongside sets from DOOM,Black Twang, CJ Beatz, The Thirst and many more. Taking place at the Village Underground on September 22nd, click here for more information on the event.
