JoJo – “Andre” | New Music

Michell C. Clark December 1, 2012 Music, New Music, Soul/R&B/Alt Comments

Inspired by Outkast‘s André 3000, vocalist JoJo releases her latest track, simply entitled “Andre.” Inspired by The Love Below, André’s 2003 solo effort, the track will be featured on Jojo’s upcoming Agápē mixtape.

The Boston native has been singing professionally since the age of 12, has since then come to age, and her latest record showcases her ever maturing vocals as she professes her love and admiration for a man similar to André Benjamin.

The influence of Andre 3000′s The Love Below can specifically be heard in the funky, synthesizer-heavy production by Mr. Frank, press play below and enjoy.

Agápē is expected to release on December 20. Her third studio album, which is currently untitled, is expected to release some time in early 2013.
