Only a few days removed from the song’s full premiere, Kanye West, Jay-Z and Big Sean‘s Cruel Summer collabo “Clique” gets a thorough re-working. Nashville-based DJ Wick-It The Instigator puts an Electronic spin on the Hit-Boy production, preparing it perfectly for dance clubs and discotheques around the world.
While he didn’t eliminate the cool bounce of the original, Wick-It most certainly altered parts its vibe by adding a thick layer of synth sounds, a new, harder bassline and some aggressive snare riffs at just the right points. This one’s definitely a re-working done with full respect to the original.
