It’s been two years since we’ve been given a new song and three years since we’ve been blessed a new body of work from Irish-bred Soul singer Laura Izibor. However, earlier this we the Atlantic Records recording artist announced that she would make a full return this coming Tuesday through the release of her new EP entitled The Brooklyn Sessions Vol. 1.
The live project, which is a follow-up to her highly-acclaimed 2008 debut album Let The Truth Be Told, will consist of three tracks — “Gracefully,” “He’ll Never Know,” and “Ring” – recorded over a three-day period with her touring band at the Electrik Indigo studios in Brooklyn. In preparation of its, release the Dublin-born songwriter has decided to release two of the songs to give fans a taste of things to come.
