Following his recent collaboration with fellow UK talent Delilah on her single “Breathe,” soulful Nottingham singer/songwriter Liam Bailey returns with his own new single; the softly pleading “Please Love Me.”

Having eased in with two EPs in 2010 – 2am Rough Tracks and So Down, Cold, both released through Polydor and Amy Winehouse‘s Lioness Records – Bailey made his major mark on the airwaves featuring on dynamic producers Chase & Status‘ dance-chart topping anthem “Blind Faith” in 2011.

Working extensively with esteemed producer Salaam Remi among others, Liam’s debut album has been in the making for a couple of years now and currently has no set release date. Oozing swinging vintage soul and an enchanting falsetto, if this new single is a sign of what’s to come we’re in for a well crafted treat.

Produced by Leon Michels and Jeff Silverman and released this month through Truth & Soul Records, paired with B-Side track “On My Mind,” you can pre-order “Please Love Me” from the label’s website.
