M.I.A – “Bad Girls” | New Music

Nura Abdela January 31, 2012 New Music No Comments

After a seemingly quiet 2011, M.I.A is getting 2012 off to a busy start with a new single from her fourth album “Bad Girls,” along with the news of a video expected to drop this Friday.

The Danja produced single is an extended version of a track originally appearing on her Vicki Leekx mixtape from 2010, and with the hook chanting ‘Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well,’ M.I.A lets us know in the most unsubtle of ways that there’s more rebellion and controversy likely to head our way again.

With her album not due to be released until the summer, in the mean time we can all look forward to the much anticipated Superbowl halftime performance where M.I.A is thought to be accompanying Madonna on stage along with Nicki Minaj to perform their collaboration on “Give Me All Your Luvin” on February 5th.
