Mary J. Blige – “Living Proof” | New Music

R&B superstar Mary J Blige has released a new song called “Living Proof” which  will serve as the theme for the upcoming film The Help. Featuring emotional lyrics delivered in a way so typical of Mary J,  this ballad is well suited for the soundtrack to the film set in Mississippi during the 1960s which is based on a number one book of the same name, which tells the story of a young white woman and two African-American maids who build an unlikely friendship.

Mary sings, “It’s gonna be a long, long journey/ It’s gonna be an uphill climb/ It’s gonna be a tough fight, there’s gonna be some lonely nights/ But I’m ready to carry on.”
