Krucial Noise-signed artist Mateo serves up a fresh sample of his upcoming Suite 823 mixtape today. Entitled “Looking You Up”, the singer aligns himself with the mighty vocals of Stacy Barthe, as they reminisce over the one that got away over some smooth, mid-tempo’d vibrations. Think Frank Ocean‘s “Thinkin’ Bout You”, omly with a little more of a solemn tone.
This number is produced by his label boss, Kenny “Krucial” Brothers, with additional input from Zeke MacUmber. Suite 823 drops August 1st, and will precede Mateo’s long-awaited debut album, coming soon via Interscope.
