24-year-old Mateo has been around for a little while and is now signed to Krucial Noise, the imprint label belonging to producer Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers. The singer/songwriter was previously down with Myspace Records but, like most artists associated with that particular venture, up and left the label last year. After signing to Krucial Noise, he released the well-received Love and Stadiums earlier this year.
“Say It’s So” is Mateo’s debut single, is taken his forthcoming EP, Love & Stadiums II and was produced by Krucial. It features a small vocal contribution from his boss’ homie Alicia Keys and a characteristically jarring appearance from Swizz Beatz. Pretty nice track that’s out now on iTunes.
With the video due to drop soon, Mateo’s team have let this teaser trailer go.
