X-Factor US winner Melanie Amaro reveals what she has been working on since taking the top spot prize with her new single, “Don’t Fail Me Now.” As expected from any talent show contestant winner, Amaro is given a upbeat Dance/Pop track to gain the attention of radio stations and pop charts alike.
Despite the predictable lyrical content and pop track, Amaro’s vocals are as strong as ever, proving why she won the talent show in the first place. Hopefully something of a contemporary R&B feel will come from the singer’s debut album, due for release later on in the year.
