The Past: Back in March I had a conversation with my Flatbush repping homie MeLo-X about this kid from Brooklyn called Joey BadA$$. I was going crazy over some new music from the teenage rapper and telling MeLo the kid was the truth, to which he replied “I already know, I was in the studio with him a couple of months ago and we were vibing out with his boy on some freestyle shit” before sending me a file for my ears only. I clicked play on that freestyle like 30 times that day, the vibes in that session we’re so real and organic… I was hooked. *Fast-Forward*
