With his Slaughterhouse crew’s debut album Welcome To: Our House readying for a release next month, pushed back from its original June 12th date, Long Beach lyricist Crooked I gives his fans a new mixtape, Psalm 82:V6, to ease the wait. The Shady Records West Coast pick up has always seemingly held the underdog status, but it’s through the mixtape hustle where Crooked has proved his worth and, subsequently, be recruited to the SH supergroup.
This latest free release is just what Crooked I fans would expect, gathering his Slaughterhouse crew mates Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9″ and Joell Ortiz, alongside Roc Marciano, Kurupt, Rass Kass, Twista, Trae Tha Truth and “Freeway” Rick Ross (as in the real Rick Ross) for a lyrical assault over 18 tracks.
