Maybe not as a unit, but G-Unit are back. With 50 Cent putting out his surprisingly solid freebie, 5 (Murder By Numbers), earlier this month, followed by Lloyd Banks and his own V6: The Gift mixtape, the third wheel in the once prominent NYC crew Tony Yayo put out his own project yesterday with Sex, Drugs & Hip-Hop.
Just like Fif and Lloyd’s aforementioned releases, Yayo opts out of any friendly collaborations, instead recruiting West, South and Mid-West to steal Too $hort (on the previously heard “Break a Bitch“), Bun B, Slim Thug, Gucci Mane, Ron Browz, and Danny Brown for features. He’s never been as acclaimed as his peers, but this new drop from Yayo might just help him up a notch.
