Murs x 9th Wonder – “Tale Of Two Cities” | New Music

With their last album together, The Final Adventure, dropping next week, Murs and 9th Wonder give fans another taste of what to expect in the form of “Tale Of Two Cities.”

Hearing Murs spit some hard-hitting bars dosed up on reality he touches upon the city where he comes from – Mid-City, California, the track drags you in to a tale of red and blue, black and white, cops and thugs. Reciting the lines, “I done earned my stripes/ Know you might lose your life on any given night/ Them black and white cars/ Them dudes inside are from streets like ours,” you’re left absorbing what street life can be like for those in circumstances that are less-than-glamourous. Laced with a piano and synth dominated beat, 9th Wonder’s signature horn acts like a calling card on this one for the North Carolina producer.

The Final Adventure is released November 13th – pre-order here and check out “Tale Of Two Cities” below.
