It was only four days ago that we were treated to the fourth single from Nas‘ looming tenth LP Life Is Good with the Rick Ross-helped street sermon, “Accident Murderers” (which did nothing to help curb the anticipation for the album), but today we have the first remix, courtesy of R&B singer-turned-rapper, Ryan Leslie.
Entering the cypher last – among stiff competition I’ll add – Leslie doesn’t disappoint. In all honesty, his melodic, borderline-crooning bars actually mesh well with No I.D.‘s organ-driven backdrop. We’ll give you a pass, Ryan.
Ryan Leslie’s third studio album, Les Is More, is in the works. Meanwhile, the prize piece, Nas’ Life Is Good, is scheduled to be with us on July 17th.
