Nate James – “1Kind” | New Music

Back on the scene, UK soul star Nate James gives fans new track “1Kind.”

After a brief break from the commercial market, in which time James starred in a few stage shows, formed a new group – SugaSmak! – and did a bit of genre hopping (see his dance collaboration with Heavyfeet here), the British singer returns with the single “1Kind”, which will feature on his upcoming album In My Skin.

With a Robin Thicke feel to it, James takes it back to when he first burst on to the scene with his soulfully saturated and critically acclaimed debut album,Set The Tone. Slowing things down, the track itself is smooth, sophisticated, and ultimately heartfelt. It’s nice to see him back doing what he does best – listen to the new track below.
