Nelly celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday by dropping off his Scorpio Season mixtape for free download. The eleven-track tape, a return to the hood after rather bland commercial ventures like 2010′s 5.o, features the single “C.N.F. (Country N—a Fly)” and “GO”, the throwback St Lunatics collaboration which we brought you earlier this week. If those tracks are anything to go by, it should be well worth a listen.
Guest appearances come from B.o.B and Trae Tha Truth, plus there are a few surprise features on the tape’s three bonus tracks. With production being handled by on-form, trap-oriented beatmakers like Drumma Boy and Detail, all that’s left to do is peep the tracklist/back cover, stream and download Scorpio Season below.
