Rising star Nitty Scott, MC comes through with the second set of visuals off her recently release mixtape EP Doobies x Popsicle Sticks. The video for “Tell Somebody,” featuring Mike Maven, was directed by Conor Shillen of One Forest Films and sees the young emcee taking it back to the essence of Hip Hop with one mic and a boom box, down in New York’s famed Union Square.
Nitty’s nine-track 2Dopeboyz presented EP features production from the likes of J.Period, 6th Sense and Mick Boogie and guest vocals from Tanya Morgan. See below for the project’s tracklist and download link.
I personally don’t have much of a problem with Nicki Minaj but it would be nice if *cough* the “mainstream” media balanced things out and took the initiative by giving talented female Hip Hop artists such as Nitty Scott some air time. Ohh and don’t even get me started with Kreayshawn, V-Nasty and Cheryl Lloyd.
