OverDoz f/ Juicy J – “Lap Dance” | New Music

With a new album and an appearance on A$AP Rocky‘s debut scheduled for early 2013, Cali rap quartet OverDoz enlist Juicy J, the current King of Strip Club Anthems (sorry, Tyga) for “Lap Dance“, a non-album cut that’s every bit as delightfully debauched as its title and cover art suggests.

The team of Sleezy, Tube, Creem and Kent recruit West Coast production duo Futuristiks for their instrumental, and for a track titled “Lap Dance”, the beatmakers serve up a surprisingly twinkly, futuristic backdrop. This means that, despite the subject matter, the foursome can be as clever with their flows and wordplay as they were on recent tracks “Dear God” and “Lauren London“, whilst slipping into the realms of ignorance for their amusing, swagged-out hook (“Bitch pay me for a lapdance!”) and for Juicy J’s illegally energetic hot 16.

Listen for yourself below, and be sure to download OverDoz’s last tape, Live For, Die For,  which features appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Dom Kennedy, Casey Veggies and more, here.
