Whether he’s the best emcee in the country is arguable, but Devlin‘s dedication to the UK scene is unquestionable. With his forthcoming sophomore album A Moving Picture scheduled for a release this Autumn, the Dagenham-bred worsworth has enlisted the songwriting sensation Ed Sheeran and the storming producer-come-solo-artist Labrinth for the LP’s first single, “Watchtower”.
Prior to the single’s music video hitting our digital screens, Devlin gives us a visual trailer for this cinematic thriller. Alongside stars Devlin and Sheeran, some of the country’s best new acting talent make appearances: Jaime Winstone (Kidulthood); Neil Maskell (Atonement); Tilly Vosburgh (Vera Drake); and George Russo (Turnout).
“Watchtower” will be released as a single on August 19th, with A Moving Picture following on October 29th.
