With precisely* 20124643 Frank Ocean remixes floating around in the Matrix at this moment in time varying vastly in quality and originality, I ignore 98.9% of the ones I’ve heard but this one definitely caught my attention.
Premiered yesterday on Benga & Skream‘s BBC Radio 1 show was this take on Mr Ocean’s “Pyramids” by San Francisco, California hailing DJ & producer Kastle who throws some trap elements fused with some chopped & screwed elements and more over the original track bringing a new dimension to one of my favourite tracks on the Channel Orange LP.
