Diplo‘s Major Lazer has taken London-based electronic band Hot Chip‘s track “Look At Where We Are” and given it makeover, transforming it into a summer anthem.
The DJ and music producer, who is said to be a fan of the group’s music, does what he knows best and adds an extra layer of bass with a hint of Reggae and Dubstep flavour, taking the track’s mid-tempo original version up a few notches.
The fresh remix comes ahead of Major Lazer’s appearance at this year’s London Notting Hill Carnival in August and is sure to go down as a hit. The original version of the track is featured on the Grammy-nominated band’s latest album, In Our Heads.
